James Gunn has set 'CREATURE COMMANDOS' before taking over DC
It follows a group of military superhumans made up of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, Frankenstein’s monster and a gorgon. Gunn himself then greenlit the project when he became CEO of DC Studios. Writer and series creator James Gunn appears in the opening credits with a laptop writing a script.

Positives: * Focus on characters
* You don’t need to do homework and watch 50 hours of movies to understand what’s going on. We’re starting a new DC Studios universe.*The action has decent choreography and is easy to follow.*The animation style is fresh and works very well for the story being told.Mixed: -Gun’s humor often feels forced with dated references and funny dialogue aside. -Not my favorite pin drop, given his talent for finding the right feel.Last things: -I didn’t expect a new formula to emerge for the genre of superheroes, but I’ve seen this type of show many times before.
Overall: 6/10 (with potential to go up or down) Can it be binged?
-If you’re here for a little fun without any real stakes, then you’ll enjoy yourself. – In the era of Spider-verse, Arcane, Blue-eyed Samurai and X-Men 97' i need more emotional investment and when episode 2 ended i didn’t care that the others weren’t available yet. Not yet..
