Twenty years later, Odysseus (Ralph Fiennes) washes up on the shores of Ithaca. The king has returned from the Trojan War, but much has changed in his kingdom. His beloved wife Penelope (Juliette Binoche) is a prisoner in her own home, hunted by scoundrels vying to be king. Their son Telemachus (Charlie Plummer) faces death at the hands of these scoundrels, who see him as an obstacle to their pursuit of the kingdom.

The acting was terrific
In the end, Goldstein talked to Ford and sold him on the role. Goldstein still doesn't understand what he did to convince him, but was elated nonetheless.. Featured in WatchMojo: Top 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 (So Far) (2023). This was a solid production and very unique storyline.
Is it perfect?
I love how each character embraces their imperfections and shows vulnerability and employs humor to make spiritual growth. Shrinking has a ton of heartfelt moments, awkward moments, mildly funny cute moments and laugh out loud moments. I hope they continue to make additional seasons of this because the character development warrants it. No.
But neither are any of us
I think the overuse of profanity takes away from the overall power potential here. It’s almost like the writers are forcefully making the show edgy. I personally don’t think it needed it. That’s why I gave it an 8.
