Scenario

This film was supposed to follow a boy who was separated from his father during World War 2. The boy discovers the island of Sodor where he meets Thomas the Tank Engine and ventures to find his father. This was supposed to be the second feature film in the franchise (after “Thomas and the Magic Railroad” in 2000) and was supposed to be released in 2010 due to numerous production issues, the film was repeatedly delayed until it was finally canceled in 2015 when HIT Entertainment folded with the work and sold its ownership to Mattel.
